All about 4th Grade:
In 4th grade we explore Idaho's past and present. We challenge ourselves in math, focusing on multiplication, division, fractions, problem solving and algebraic thinking. Some of the books we discover together are Sarah Plain and Tall, Stone Fox and The Sign of the Beaver. We work to become better writers and we apply the Common Core and Idaho State Standards to our learning.
All 4th graders can download a voucher to gain unlimited, free access to any federal park, land or water for a year!
In 2013 Idaho celebrated its 150 anniversary of becoming a territory. In March 2015 First Lady Lori Otter spoke at our school in celebration of Idaho Day. In May we'll take a field trip to Wagons Ho! and participate in the pioneer experience.
